monster.com - Heuristics Review
The IA group at Arnold was asked to do a heuristics review of the monster.com web site.
This example represents the style and methodology that was established for all of these types of reviews. Rather than the traditional method of bringing in several experts to review the site and compare opinions, we developed a streamlined process. We utilized ISO criteria and published opinions from industry experts to validate issues identified by a single reviewer.
A recent article in the ACM publication "Interactions" entitled "Pardon Me, But Your Baby is Ugly..." supports this approach.
